Farmers’ protest Day 69 highlights: Internet services suspended in 3 Haryana districts till Wednesday 5 pm
- A country-wide agitation will be held February 6 and roads will be blocked for three hours
- On Saturday, two journalists were arrested for allegedly misbehaving with the police, while covering the protests
- Farmers are protesting since November 26 against three farm laws, enacted in September
The ongoing farmers’ protest entered day 69 on Tuesday. The suspension of mobile internet in the border areas, where the farmers are protesting against the farm laws, has been extended till 11 pm today. On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had called for an all-party meet on February 2 to show unity for the protest. Two journalists were arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly misbehaving with police officials while covering the protests on Saturday. Bhartiya Kisan Union’s Balbir Singh Rajewal said on Mondat that there will be a country-wide agitation on February 6, where protestors will block roads between 12 pm and 3 pm.
