A goat in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region ended up causing injuries to Russian soldiers. According to Ukrainian authorities, the female animal triggered tripwires with pinned grenades installed by the Russian military at a hospital in the village of Kinski Rozdory.

As the goat moved around the area, it accidentally “disposed of” several grenades and started a chain reaction, Pravda reported, citing Ukraine’s Chief Directorate of Intelligence. As the grenades went off several Russian soldiers were injured to varying degrees.

It was unclear if the goat survived the incident.

A total of 40 Russian servicemen were stationed at the hospital at the time. According to local officials, approximately 60% of Zaporizhzhia Oblast is now under the control of Russian forces.

Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24 to “denazify” its western neighbor. According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, the country has suffered 34,100 combat losses among its personnel between the start of the invasion. It has also lost 1,496 tanks, 3,606 armored fighting vehicles, 216 aircraft and 181 helicopters, according to the ministry.

After a failed attempt to capture Kyiv, Russia moved its focus on eastern Ukraine. The offensive yielded more territory for Russia.

While peace talks between Ukraine and Russia have stalled, the conflict between the two countries will likely end at the negotiating table.

As the war completes its four months, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine must accept all of Russia’s demands if it wants an end to the war.

Peskov said that any peaceful settlement of the war was only possible after Ukraine “fulfills all the requirements of the Russian side.” When asked to clarify what these were, Peskov responded: “Ukraine knows everything very well,” news agency Interfax reported.
