In Pics: Fleet of Rafale jets land at Ambala Air Force Station

The first batch of five Rafale jets landed at Ambala Air Force station on Wednesday afternoon. The twin engine jets, which have been purchased for Rs 59,000 crore from France, received a grand welcome and were honoured with a ‘water salute’.

 The jets are equipped with ‘buddy-buddy; refuelling, that lets one aircraft lend its fuel to another while still in flight.
