In pics: World celebrates Eid-al-Adha

People around the world came out of their houses in large numbers, offered namaz at mosques, greeted each other and exchanged food and gifts to celebrate as part of Eid-al-Adha celebrations on Sunday. Known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” the observance coincides with the final rites of the annual hajj in Saudi Arabia. Much of Asia, including Indonesia, India, and Pakistan, observed the holiday on Sunday.
