Is Elon Musk a choccy milk fan now?

Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX CEO, recently professed his newfound love for chocolate milk in a tweet. 

“Chocolate milk is insanely good. Just had some”, the billionaire said. 

Musk has been known to jump on internet trends and possesses good meme knowledge, as his previous posts have shown. His most recent declaration brings to mind the ‘choccy milk’ sensation that has been doing the rounds on the internet. 

Chocolate milk or choccy milk is made by mixing milk and cocoa. The drink became a sensation after YouTuber Reeve Savage uploaded a video of herself, blowing bubbles into a cup of chocolate milk, referring to the drink by the internet slang that’d eventually become popular on platforms like Reddit and Facebook.

There have been numerous instances since then, where memes and posts have all shown how ‘choccy milk’ is desirable, and a delicious drink. In 2019, a post emerged where YouTuber Markiplier was shown holding a glass of chocolate milk. The image was captioned, “Here, some choccy milk/Because you’re epic.” In days, this was replaced by various famous people with the drink in hand.

Musk, apart from getting on meme trends, seems to be getting on Russia’s nerves as well. A recent series of tweets from the entrepreneur showed that a Russian official had shared details with the nation’s state-run media about how Musk’s Starlink satellites were being supplied by the Pentagon to the Azov Battalion in Mariupol. The official accused Musk of helping fascist forces in Ukraine, calling the Azov Battalion nazis. Musk, the self-proclaimed free-speech absolutist, slammed the claim saying the official must not know what Nazi means or entails, but also quipped that he might “die under mysterious circumstances“. 

The cavalier attitude led Maye Musk, Elon’s mother, to chide her son, saying it wasn’t funny, to which Musk replied that he’d try his best to stay alive.
