Justin Herbert is the quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers in the National Football League. He threw for 334 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 of the 2022 NFL Season. The team however lost the game, 27-24.

College: –

Justin Herbert attended the University of Oregon in the year 2016 to play for their Oregon Ducks football team. He stayed there till 2019 having thrown 95 passing touchdowns and 22 interceptions during that period.

Family: –

Herbert’s grandfather, Rich Schwab, was a receiver at the same university as Herbert. Mark Herbert, his father, was a football and track athlete at the University of Montana. Patrick, Herbert’s younger brother, is also a tight end for the Ducks. Mitchell, his older brother, was a wide receiver at Montana State University.

After being drafted by the Chargers in the 2020 NFL Draft, Justin Herbert agreed to terms on a four-year- $26,578,755 million contract that included a $16,890,004 million signing bonus and a $26,578,755 million guarantee (as mentioned in Spotrac). According to Marca.com, his net worth is estimated to be around $4 million.

For his short NFL Career, the player has many records under his belt. These include: –

1) He holds the NFL record for most passing touchdowns thrown as a rookie, a feat he achieved in 2020 with 31 passing TDs.

2) Herbert completed 396 passes in his rookie season, a record.

3) He also had six games of at least three touchdown passes as a rookie, a record.

4) The Chargers’ Qb also holds the NFL record for most touchdowns scored in the first two seasons with 77.
