Massive fire erupts on a fishing boat off Visakhapatnam coast

A fishing boat was engulfed in a massive fire off the Visakhapatnam coast on Saturday. The fire was reported when the boat was a short distance away from the fishing harbour.

The actual cause of the incident could not be ascertained, however, initial reports said that the blaze was caused by a technical fault.

Visakhapatnam Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Suresh Babu said that all the fishermen on the boat were safe and there was no casualty.
