As stated in a federal indictment from Pennsylvania, Cedric Lodge, 55, is accused of stealing dissected human cadavers from the mortuary at Harvard Medical School. Lodge allegedly carried the stolen body parts to his home in Goffstown, New Hampshire, and then sold them online.

The indictment, which was released on Wednesday, contains accusations against two people who are suspected of purchasing stolen body parts. Katrina MacLean, 44, of Salem, and Joshua Taylor, 46, of West Lawn, have been charged in connection with the suspected illicit transactions.

Katrina MacLean appeared in federal court in Boston on Wednesday afternoon, facing allegations connected to the interstate trafficking of stolen items. The maximum term for the offense is ten years in prison. However, the judge discharged her calling it a non-violent offense In March, the FBI raided Katrina MacLean’s “Kat’s Creepy Creations” boutique in Peabody, Massachusetts, as well as her home in Salem. The reason for the search was not disclosed.

Prosecutors allege that Katrina MacLean, Joshua Taylor, and the Lodges (Cedric and Denise) conspired to illegally steal human remains from the mortuary and transport them to New Hampshire, where the Lodges live, and Pennsylvania, where Taylor lives. Prosecutors claim that the illicit acts occurred between 2018 and March 2023.

Prosecutors have leveled new charges against Katrina MacLean, alleging that she was involved in the selling of stolen human remains and using her Peabody store as a storage facility for them. Prosecutors point to an alleged arrangement between MacLean and Cedric Lodge in October 2020, in which MacLean allegedly agreed to buy two dismembered faces from Lodge for $600.
