The COVID pandemic has brought the entire world at a huge downfall, lives have been severely affected, people have lost their loved ones and many have also been removed from their jobs. Among those people there also exists a little girl who lost her parents due to the deadly virus.
The girl, Vanisha Pathak, lived in Bhopal with her mother Seema Pathak and her father Jeetendra Kumar Pathak. She received a stellar score of 99.8% when the CBSE announced the results for class 10th last week. While this is a proud occasion for any parents, she, unfortunately, will be unable to share it with them.
She scored a perfect 100 in Social Science, Science, Sanskrit and English along with 97 marks in Mathematics. The city topper truly did an inspiring and commendable job, given the circumstances and left everyone amazed. She lost her mother on May 4 and her father on May 15. The young 16-year-old girl received her CBSE class 10 result just three months after the heartbreaking news.
She now lives with their maternal uncle and aunt, along with her brother. She struggled with grief, loss, shock and agony while preparing for her exams yet she managed to make everyone proud. She mentioned that she had to stay strong and focused for her little brother because she was all that he had.
The strong-willed girl mentioned that her motive is to fulfil her father's dream, who wanted to see her as an IITian or crack UPSC and serve the country. Vanisha told the Logical Indian,"His dream is my dream now".
She penned down her emotions through a poem titled ‘I'll be a strong girl, daddy, without you’.
