The Irish singer and songwriter Niall Horan turned 28 on September 13. He shot to fame as part of the boy band One Direction. The band formed on The X Factor in 2010 broke down after five years, in 2015, as Zayn Malik announced his decision of going solo.

He was the only member of One Direction who wasn’t born in England. Niall released his debut solo album Flicker in 2017 (debuted at number one in Ireland and United States) and his second studio album Heartbreak Weather was released in 2020.

It seems like he is a huge football fan. Niall does not tweet a lot but he surely welcomed Cristiano Ronaldo back at Manchester United. He wrote, “He’s back!! ‘It’s going to be so good to see him play in England again.”

Celebrities and thousands of fans posted their wishes for the ‘Slow Hands’ singer on social media platforms Twitter and Instagram.

American comedian Jimmy Fallon well known as the host of the late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon took time out to wish the birthday boy.

TV icon Jaiden Michael also sent his best wishes to Niall.

Horan's love for golfing is well known and the LGPA did not shy away from sending birthday wishes to the One Direction star.

He thanked his fans for sending him love via a tweet.

The singer recently made his relationship with Amelia Woolley public. The couple made their red-carpet debut for an event in London, as they arrived at the Horan and Rose Gala. If rumours are to be believed then the duo began dating last year in July 2020.

They have managed to keep their relationship private and have avoided getting spotted in public other than a few shopping trips.
