The BSE Sensex rose by 443.19 points or 0.86% to close at
52,265.72. During the day, it rallied 694.26 points, or 1.33% to 52,516.79. The
NSE Nifty rallied 694.256 points or 1.33% to 52,516.79.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Mid cap
index rising by 1.40%, while the Small cap index was up by 1.18%. On the
sectoral front, Auto was up by 4.42%, Consumer Disc was up by 2.40%, IT was up
by 1.87%, TECK was up by 1.85% and Telecom was up by 1.81%, while Energy was
down by 0.47% and Oil & Gas down by 0.29% were the only losing indices on
BSE.

Here are the key stocks that moved the most on June 24:

Bajaj Auto: The stock jumped 3.97% to close at Rs 3,780
after the auto firm informed exchanges that the board of directors will meet on
June 27 to further decide on the proposal for the buyback of equity shares of
the company.

TVS Motor: The stock added 3.78% to settle at Rs 772.00

TCS: The stock surged 2.79% to end at Rs 3,312.95 after
India’s largest software company received a deal to drive business process
transformation at Aadhar Housing Finance for an undisclosed amount. The
domestic housing financer will be deploying the Tata group company’s lending
and securitization platform for market expansion, it said in the statement.

Route Mobile: The company’s shares closed 9.82% higher at
Rs 1,208.00 after news that its board will consider buying back shares on June
28.

IRB Infrastructure: The share price surged 7.39% to close
at RS 199.80 after the company received 75% of the arbitration award of Rs 419
crore from IRB Pathankot Amritsar Toll Road Limited and SPV of IRB InvIT Fund.
The court has upheld Arbitral Tribunal’s Order and directed NHAI to release 75%
of the arbitration award amount, that is Rs 308 crore, to the company. IRB
Infra was the EPC contractor for the Pathankot Amritsar BOT project, according
to the company’s release.
