Gold prices remained stable on Friday due to an increase in
the Treasury yields and prospects of US interest rate hikes. However, broader
weakness in the dollar kept bullion on track for its fourth weekly gain.

The US wholesale prices declined 0.5% in July, according to
data released on Thursday. The US CPI inflation dropped to 8.5% in July for the
first time since April 2022 due to easing gasoline prices.
