Gold prices remained unchanged on Monday. Lower treasury yields and a pullback in the US dollar supported the sentiments for bullion. This week, the traders would be keeping their eye on US Federal Reserve’s two-day policy meeting which ends on Wednesday. Market observers are anticipating a 75-basis-point interest rate hike. The dollar gained 0.2% against its rivals, making greenback-priced bullion more expensive for buyers holding other currencies.
