Gold prices moved higher on Monday as the weakness in the
US dollar supported the yellow metal. However, profit booking after a sharp
increase in the previous session weighed on the bullion’s sentiments. Investors
are closely waiting for the US Inflation data due later this week. The data is
likely to shed some light on Fed’s rate-hike move in the December meeting.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) remained
flat on Monday, November 4, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,870.00 per
10 gm, up 4 points or 0.01%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading
at Rs 60,180.00 per kg, down 358 points or 0.59%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,668.57 per oz,
while silver is priced at $20.47. Platinum was trading at $953.50, while
palladium was trading at $1,887.00.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 675.55 down 0.95% while
Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 570.00 and Rs 203.30 per
Kg respectively on MCX.

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 49,310
per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 58,755 per kg on Friday according to
the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

According to the Good Returns website, ten grams of
22-carat gold is being sold for Rs 47,010 in Mumbai and Kolkata. In Chennai,
the same amount of yellow metal can be purchased for Rs 47,710. Today, it costs
Rs 47,160 in New Delhi.

The 24-carat gold rate is Rs 51,290 for ten grams of metal
in Kolkata and Mumbai. In Chennai, the same amount of gold is being traded for
Rs 52,050. It can be purchased for Rs 51,450 in New Delhi.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,010 and Rs 47,040 in
Vijayawada and Patna, respectively. In Vijayawada, the same amount of 24-carat
purity is worth Rs 51,290, while in Patna, it is worth Rs 51,320.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,010 in
Vishakhapatnam, Kerala, and Hyderabad. The same amount can be purchased for Rs
47,060 in Mysore, Ahmedabad, and Surat. In Vishakhapatnam, Kerala, and
Hyderabad, ten grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs 51,290. The same amount of
24-carat gold can be purchased for Rs 51,340 in Mysore, Ahmedabad, and Surat.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,160 and Rs 47,710 in
Lucknow and Madurai, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs
51,450 in Lucknow. It is worth Rs 52,050 in Madurai.
