Gold price rose on Thursday from nine-month lows touched in the previous session, after the dollar paused its rally, alleviating pressure on greenback-priced bullion. Analysts warned that the relief was likely to be temporary.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased marginally on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,635.00 per 10 gm, up 135.00 points or 0.27%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 56,920.00 per kg, up 194.00 points or 0.34%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,746.21 per oz while Silver is priced at $19.33. Platinum was trading at $860.00 while palladium was trading at $1,929.00.

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 50,070 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 56,449 per kg on Wednesday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 649.80 down 0.72% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 439.70 and Rs 208.25 per Kg respectively on MCX.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,600 in Mumbai, Kolkata, and New Delhi, according to the Good Returns website. The same quantity of yellow metal is being traded-in Chennai for Rs 47,400.

The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold in New Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai is Rs 51,930. The same amount is worth Rs 51,710 in Chennai.

In Pune and Coimbatore, ten grams of 22-carat gold are being traded at Rs 47,650 and Rs 47,400, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity is being purchased at Rs 51,980 in Pune and Rs 51,71 in Coimbatore.

In Kerala and Hyderabad, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is being sold at a price of Rs 47,600 and in Bengaluru, Mysore, Mangalore, and Bhubaneswar the same amount is being purchased at Rs 47,630.

However, 10 grams of 24-carat gold in Kerala and Hyderabad is traded at Rs 51,930. In Bengaluru, Mysore, Mangalore, and Bhubaneswar, the same amount of 24-carat gold is being procured at Rs 51,960.

In Patna and Jaipur, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is bought and sold at Rs 47,650 and Rs 47,750, respectively. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is being traded at Rs 51,980 in Coimbatore and Rs 52,070 in Jaipur.

In Nashik and Chandigarh, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is available at Rs 47,650 and Rs 47,750 respectively. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is being bought and sold at Rs 51,980 in Nashik and Rs 52,080 in Chandigarh.
