Following big gains the previous session, gold prices were nearly flat on Wednesday, as a strong US dollar limited the bullion’s upside potential. Meanwhile, weak treasury yields following US inflation statistics and concerns about the Ukraine war aided gold buying.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased marginally on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 52,915.00 per 10 gm, up 37 points or 0.07%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 69,010.00 per kg, up 220 points or 0.32%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,972.20 per oz. Platinum was trading at $974.00 while palladium was trading at $2,398.14. 

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 51,360 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 67,833 per kg on Tuesday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 825.00 up 0.66% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 511.20 and Rs 270.50 per Kg respectively on MCX. 

The 10 grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 49,010 in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata. In Chennai, the same quantity of valuable yellow metal can be purchased for Rs 49,480, As per the Good Returns website.

The 24-carat gold rate of 10 grams of yellow metal costs Rs 53,460 in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is being sold in Chennai for Rs 54,010.

In Patna, Nashik, and Nagpur, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is being bought and sold at Rs 49,110. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is being traded at Rs 53,560 in the three cities.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold is being bought and sold at Rs 49,010 in Kerala, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. 

The same amount of 22-carat purity can be acquired for Rs 49,010 in Mysore, Vishakhapatnam, and Bhubaneswar. Ten grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs 53,460 in all of the above-mentioned regions.

The 10 grams of 22-carat gold can be acquired in Lucknow, Jaipur, and Chandigarh for Rs 49,160. The same amount of 24-carat purity is priced at Rs 53,610 in these cities.

In Ahmedabad and Surat, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is valued at Rs 48,090. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is priced at Rs 53,540 in these two western cities.
