Gold prices swung between gains and losses on Wednesday, as
investors refrained from making big bets ahead of US inflation report that is
expected to impact the pace of Federal Reserve interest rate policy.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) slipped
on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 52,255.00 per 10
gm, down 177 points or 0.34%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading
at Rs 58,538.00 per kg, up 253 points or 0.43%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,791.75 per oz
while silver was at $20.42. Platinum was trading at $934.92 while palladium was
trading at $2,202.47.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 662.15, down by 0.23%
while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 624.00 and Rs 215.20
per kg respectively on MCX.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold is being purchased and sold at
Rs 47,950 in Mumbai and Kolkata, according to the Good Returns website. The
same amount of valuable yellow metal can be purchased for Rs 49,000 in Chennai
and Rs 48,100 in New Delhi.

The 24-carat gold price, ten grams of this in-demand metal
costs Rs 52,310 in Kolkata and Mumbai. The same quantity is being marketed at
Rs 53,450 in Chennai and Rs 52,470 in New Delhi.

In Patna and Chandigarh, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is being
sold at Rs 47,980 and Rs 48,100, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat
purity is being traded at Rs 52,360 in Patna and Rs 52,470 in Chandigarh.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,950 in Vishakhapatnam,
Kerala, and Hyderabad. The same amount is worth Rs 48,000 in Mysore, Bengaluru,
and Mangalore. Ten grams of 24-carat gold in Kerala, Vishakhapatnam, and
Hyderabad is being procured at Rs 52,310. In Bengaluru, Mysore, and Mangalore,
the same amount of 24-carat gold is being retailed at Rs 52,360.

Nashik and Madurai, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs 52,360
in Nashik and Rs 53,450 in Madurai.
