As the Cincinnati Bengals face the Los Angeles Rams at the NFL Super Bowl LVI, fans were excited to watch the greatest performances of all time in the Super Bowl Halftime show 2022.
Five of hip hop’s biggest legends, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige, and Kendrick Lamar hit the stage for their highly anticipated show and made history. 50 Cent made a surprise appearance this year to perform his 2003 sensation “In Da Club” — partially while suspended upside down.
The halftime lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, with 12 to 15 minutes spent on the main Halftime Show performance. The trailer of the show, directed by F. Gary Gray has amassed over 15 million views on YouTube.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Snoop Dogg had said, “For me, when performing, I never let the moment get bigger than “me”.
“I’m not going to understand it until it happens. While it’s happening, I’m in the zone. I’m stuck to the script, laser focused, being on point, sounding good, looking good and feeling good. I want to give off a great presentation. After the fact, it’s when I’ll be nervous about watching it to see what the reaction is. But while I’m going through it, it’s nothing.”

For Snoop Dogg, performing at the Super Bowl in his home state was a “dream come true”.
“I’m still thinking I’m in a dream because I can’t believe that they will let a real hip-hop artist grace the stage in an NFL Super Bowl,” he said. “We’re just going to wait for that moment and put something together that’s spectacular, and do what we’re known for doing and add on to the legacy.”
