The BSE Sensex zoomed 1,041.08 points or 1.90% to settle
at 55,925.74. During the day, it jumped 1,197.99 points or 2.18% to 56,082.65.
The broader NSE Nifty surged 308.95 points or 1.89% to close at 16,661.40.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Midcap
index up by 2.28%, while the Small cap index was up by 2.23%. The top gaining
sectoral indices on the BSE were Consumer Durables up by 4.41%, Realty up by
3.96%, IT up by 3.75%, TECK up by 3.53% and Capital Goods up by 2.92%, while
there were no losing sectoral indices on the BSE.

Here are the key stocks that moved the most on May 30:

Mahindra & Mahindra: The share surged 4.95% to close
at Rs 1000.00 after the company reported a 17% year-on-year (YoY) increase in
standalone profit (before exceptional items) at Rs 1,167 crore for the March
quarter (Q4FY22) compared to Rs 998 crore in the corresponding quarter the year
before. Profit after exceptional items increased 427% to Rs 1,292 crore from Rs
245 crore in the same period the previous year. M&M’s standalone net sales
for the quarter were Rs 17,124 crore, up 28% year on year and 12.4% quarter on
quarter.

Sun Pharma: The stock ended 1.65% higher at Rs 889.00
after the company reported a net loss of Rs 2,277.2 crore in the March 2022
quarter against a profit of Rs 894.1 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue was
up 10.8% at Rs 9,446.7 crore against Rs 8,523 crore EBITDA grew 14.3% at Rs
2,340.3 crore against Rs 2,048 crore.

Jubilant Foodworks: The share jumped 9.66% to close at Rs
566.65 after the company reported a net profit of Rs 116.1 crore. It reported
revenue at Rs 1,158 crore while EBITDA came in at Rs 289.6 crore. The company
has appointed Sameer Khetarpal as Chief Executive Officer and Managing
Director.

Vodafone Idea: The share jumped 3.93% to close at Rs
9.25% after The Ken reported that e-commerce giant Amazon is in the running to
invest up to Rs 20,000 crore in the struggling telecom operator. Vodafone Idea
has been looking for investors to raise fresh capital to pay down its debt and
invest in its network after returning from the brink of bankruptcy following
help from the government. According to The Ken, Amazon may be interested in
investing in Vodafone Idea as it remains the only major cloud services major
without a telecom partner while Vodafone Idea is the only telecom operator
without investment from a major US tech company.

FSN E-commerce Ventures: The stock ended 3.44% higher to
close at Rs 1,398 after the net profit declined 33% year on year to Rs 413
crore for March 2022 quarter due to steep rise n marketing and other operating
expenses. Revenues grew 55% to Rs 3,774 crore.
