Sensex fell 98.00 points or 0.18% to 53,416.15 and the
Nifty was down by 28.00 points or 0.18% to 15,938.65 in the previous session.

Sensex touched high and low of 53,861.28 and 53,163.77,
respectively. There were 12 stocks advancing against 18 stock declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,070.75 and 15,858.20. There
were 21 stocks advancing against 29 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in red with the BSE Mid cap index
falling 0.40%, while Small cap index was down by 0.56%. On the sectoral front, Oil
& Gas was up by 1.65%, Energy was up by 1.13%, Utilities was up by 1.02%,
Power was up by 0.98%, Healthcare was up by 0.75% while, IT down by 1.44%, TECK
down by 1.14%, Basic Materials down by 0.71%, Telecom down by 0.63%, PSU down
by 0.50% were the losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Sun Pharma up by 2.28%,
Dr. Reddy’s Lab up by 1.73%, Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 1.50%, Maruti Suzuki up
by 1.45% and Titan Company up by 0.85%. On the flip side, Axis Bank down by
1.74%, HCL Technologies down by 1.53%, SBI down by 1.48%, Tech Mahindra down by
1.44% and TCS down by 1.31% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Sun Pharma up by 2.60%, ONGC
up by 2.25%, Dr. Reddy’s Lab up by 1.88%, Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 1.64% and
Maruti Suzuki up by 1.43%. On the flip side, Axis Bank down by 1.62%, HCL
Technologies down by 1.59%, Hero MotoCorp down by 1.49%, Tech Mahindra down by
1.33% and SBI down by 1.27% were the top losers.

Astec LifeSciences Limited, Butterfly Gandhimathi
Appliances Limited, Cheviot Company Limited, Dangee Dums Limited and Ganesh
Benzoplast Limited have hit a 52-week high on Thursday.

Arrow Greentech Limited, Axis Mutual Fund – Axis NIFTY IT
ETF, Birlasoft Limited, DRC Systems India Limited and Electrotherm (India)
Limited have made fresh 52 week low on Thursday.

RELIANCE, ADANIGREEN, TCS, KOTAKBANK, INFY, MINDTREE,
BHARTIAIRTEL, HDFCBANK, TATASTEEL and HDFC were the most active equities on
NSE.

Vipul Limited, Banka BioLoo Limited, Sanofi India Limited,
Bal Pharma Limited and Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Limited were the top
volume gainers.

21STCENMGM, A2ZINFRA, ADROITINFO, ALPSINDUS and ANDHRACEMT hit
the upper price band while AGRITECH, AJRINFRA, ANTGRAPHIC, ARROWGREEN and ARTNIRMAN
hit the lower price band. There were 77 securities that hit the upper band
while 54 hit the lower band on July 14, 2022.
