Sensex rose 427.79 points or 0.78% to 55,320.28 and Nifty was up by 121.85 points or 0.74% to 16,478.10 on Thursday.

Sensex touched high and low of 55,366.84 and 54,507.41,
respectively. There were 20 stocks advancing against 10 stocks declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,492.80 and 16,243.85. There
were 38 stocks advancing against 12 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Mid cap
index up by 0.46%, while Small cap index was up by 0.24%.

On the sectoral front, Telecom was up by 2.10%, Energy up
by 2.03%, Oil & Gas up by 1.78%, Healthcare up by 1.01% and TECK up by
0.99%, while Metal down by 1.66%, Basic Materials down by 0.75% were the top
losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Dr. Reddy’s Lab up by
3.00%, Reliance Industries up by 2.73%, Bharti Airtel up by 2.01%, Sun Pharma
up by 1.36% and Tech Mahindra up by 1.31%. On the other hand, Tata Steel down
by 3.81%, NTPC down by 1.18%, Ultratech Cement down by 0.93%, Bajaj Finance
down by 0.91% and SBI down by 0.89% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Dr. Reddy’s Lab up by
3.00%, BPCL up by 2.81%, Reliance Industries up by 2.64%, Eicher Motors up by
2.63% and Bajaj Auto up by 2.12%. On the other hand, Tata Steel down by 4.18%,
Shree Cement down by 1.96%, Grasim Industries down by 1.60%, Tata Motors down
by 1.56% and NTPC down by 1.05% were the top losers.

Archidply Décor Limited, Global Education Limited,
Hardwyn India Limited, Hindustan Motors Limited and J Kumar Infraprojects
Limited and have made fresh 52 week high on Thursday.

Aarti Industries Limited, Aavas Financiers Limited,
Advani Hotels & Resorts (India) Limited, AGS Transact Technologies Limited
and Akash Infra-Projects Limited have hit a 52-week low on Thursday.

RELIANCE, TATASTEEL, OIL, BAJFINANCE, MRPL, INFY, SBIN,
TATAMOTORS, MARUTI and ICICIBANK were the most active equities on NSE.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund – ICICI
Prudential Consumption ETF, ICICI Prudential Bank ETF Nifty Bank Index,
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund – ICICI Prudential S&P BSE 500 ETF – NA,
Cartrade Tech Limited and Times Guaranty Limited were
the top volume gainers.

ADL, ANIKINDS, ANKITMETAL, ANTGRAPHIC and ARIHANTCAP hit
the upper price band while 21STCENMGM, AJRINFRA, AKASH, ALKALI and BCG hit the lower
price band. There were 90 securities that hit the upper band while 53 hit the
lower band on June 9, 2022.
