Sensex rose 390.28 points or 0.70% to 56,072.23 and the
Nifty was up by 114.20 points or 0.69% to 16,719.45.  in the previous session.

Sensex touched high and low of 56,186.05 and 55,685.45,
respectively. There were 18 stocks advancing against 12 stock declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,752.25 and 16,610.90. There
were 27 stocks advancing against 23 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Mid cap
index falling 0.17%, while Small cap index was up by 0.21%. On the sectoral
front, Bankex was up by 1.49%, Basic Materials was up by 1.26%, FMCG was up by
0.43%, Realty was up by 0.37%, Auto was up by 0.30% while, Power down by 0.93%,
TECK down by 0.77%, Utilities down by 0.75%, Telecom down by 0.69%, IT down by
0.69% were the top losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Ultratech Cement up by
5.03%, HDFC up by 2.37%, HDFC Bank up by 2.34%, Axis Bank up by 2.14% and ICICI
Bank up by 1.74%. On the flip side, Infosys down by 1.73%, NTPC down by 1.19%,
Power Grid Corporation down by 0.83%, Wipro down by 0.80% and Indusind Bank
down by 0.56% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Ultratech Cement up by 4.90%,
Grasim Industries up by 3.37%, UPL up by 2.85%, HDFC Bank up by 2.47% and HDFC
up by 2.39%. On the flip side, Tata Consumer Products down by 1.87%, Infosys
down by 1.75%, NTPC down by 1.09%, Power Grid Corporation down by 1.04% and
BPCL down by 0.90% were the top losers.

Adani Enterprises Limited, Akshar Spintex Limited,
Automotive Axles Limited, AXIS MUTUAL FUND – Axis NIFTY India Consumption ETF
and Bajaj Auto Limited have hit a 52-week high on Friday.

Bafna Pharmaceuticals Limited, CSL Finance Limited, DRC
Systems India Limited, Nandan Denim Limited and Radhika Jeweltech Limited have
made fresh 52-week low on Friday.

RELIANCE, INFY, ICICIBANK, ULTRACEMCO, HDFCBANK, SBIN,
AXISBANK, HDFC, TCS and KOTAKBANK were the most active equities on NSE.

Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund – Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Low
Volatility ETF, Kotak Nifty 100 Low Volatility 30 ETF, Nureca Limited, PVP
Ventures Limited and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund – ICICI Prudential S&P
BSE 500 ETF – NA were the top volume gainers.

21STCENMGM, AKASH, ALPSINDUS, ARIHANTCAP and ARSHIYA hit
the upper price band while ADROITINFO, ANSALAPI, ANTGRAPHIC, ARENTERP and
BALKRISHNA hit the lower price band. There were 88 securities that hit the
upper band while 49 hit the lower band on July 22, 2022.
