Sensex fell 93.91 points or 0.17% to 55,675.32 and Nifty
was down by 14.75 points or 0.09% to 16,569.55 on Monday.

Sensex touched a high and low of 56,832.28 and 55,295.74,
respectively. There were 9 stocks advancing against 21 stocks declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,610.95 and 16,444.55. There
were 21 stocks advancing against 29 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in red with the BSE Mid cap
index falling 0.15%, while Small cap index was down by 0.54%. On the sectoral front,
Metal was up by 0.72%, Oil & Gas was up by 0.50%, Energy was up by 0.41%,
Auto was up by 0.21% and Bankex was up by 0.15%, while Finance was down by
3.39%, Realty down by 0.87%, Consumer Disc down by 0.79%, Consumer Durables
down by 0.59% and Capital Goods down by 0.53% were the losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Tata Steel up by
0.99%, Indusind Bank up by 0.78%, Mahindra & Mahindra up by 0.77%, ITC up
by 0.70% and Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 0.67%. On the other hand, Asian Paints
was down by 2.36%, Ultratech Cement down by 1.68%, Bajaj Finserv down by 1.34%,
Nestle down by 1.01% and Larsen & Toubro down by 0.79% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Bajaj Auto up by 4.02%, JSW
Steel up by 2.69%, Tata Consumer Product up by 1.66%, ONGC up by 1.52% and
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise up by 1.51%. On the other hand, Shree Cement down
by 3.14%, BPCL down by 2.61%, Asian Paints down by 2.52%, Ultratech Cement down
by 1.74% and Hero MotoCorp down by 1.58% were the top losers.

Aether Industries Limited, Nippon India Mutual Fund,
Elecon Engineering Company Limited, HBL Power Systems Limited and ICICI
Prudential Mutual Fund have made fresh 52 week high on Monday.

Aarti Industries Limited, Asian Hotels (West) Limited,
Anupam Rasayan India Limited, Aptus Value Housing Finance India Limited and
Balaji Telefilms Limited have hit a 52-week low on Monday.

RELIANCE, INFY, AETHER, ICICIBANK, HDFC, TATASTEEL,
JSWSTEEL, TATAELXSI, ULTRACEMCO and TATAMOTORS were the most active equities on
NSE.

Airan Limited, Gallant Metal Limited, DSP Mutual Fund –
DSP Nifty 50 ETF, Mirae Asset Mutual Fund -Mirae Asset ESG Sector Leaders ETF
and Thyrocare Technologies Limited were the top volume gainers.

AAKASH, ADANIPOWER, ADL, AIRAN and AKG hit the upper
price band while A2ZINFRA, ADROITINFO, AGRITECH, AHLWEST and AJRINFRA hit the lower
price band. There were 87 securities that hit the upper band while 93 hit the
lower band on June 6, 2022.
