The Sensex fell 87.12 points or 0.14% to 61,663.48 while the Nifty was down 36.25 points or 0.20% to close at 18,307.65 at the end of Friday’s trading session.
The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 61,929.88 and 61,337.43. A total of 11 stocks advanced against 19 that declined.
The Nifty traded in the high-low range of 18,394.60 and 18,209.80. On the index, 14 stocks advanced against 35 that declined, and 1 stable.

The broader indices ended lower with the BSE MidCap index losing 0.44% and the SmallCap index down by 0.45%. The top losing sectoral indices on the BSE were Auto down by 1.23%, Energy 0.73%, Oil & Gas 0.73%, Consumer Discretionary 0.63%, and Capital Goods 0.59%. While Realty up by 0.14% and Bankex 0.04% were only gaining sectoral indices on BSE.
The top losers on the Sensex were Mahindra and Mahindra down by 2.46%, Maruti Suzuki 1.57%, 1.63%, Bajaj Finance 1.53%, IndusInd Bank 1.52%, and NTPC 1.52%. While the top gainers on the index were Hindustan Unilever up by 0.99%, Asian Paints 0.86%, HCL Technologies 0.77%, SBI 0.58%, and Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.44%.

The top losers on the Nifty were Mahindra & Mahindra down by 2.51%, Bajaj Auto 1.79%, NTPC 1.66%, Bajaj Finance 1.60%, and IndusInd Bank 1.57%. While the top gainers were HCL Technologies up by 1.14%, Asian Paints 0.92%, Hindustan Unilever 0.85%, SBI 0.50%, and Infosys 0.44%.
TCPL Packaging Limited, Alicon Castalloy Limited, Revathi Equipment Limited, Kokuyo Camlin Limited, and Sirca Paints India Limited hit their 52-week high on Friday.

United Drilling Tools Limited, Nureca Limited, Suumaya Industries Limited, Mastek Limited, and Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited touched their 52-week low on Friday.
PB Fintech Limited (Policybazaar), FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited (Nykaa), Punjab National Bank, One 97 Communications Limited (Paytm), and Vedanta Limited were the most active equities on NSE.

The top volume gainers were IFB Industries Limited, Debock Industries Limited, Biofil Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited, IZMO Limited, and Kokuyo Camlin Limited.
Biofil Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited, Oswal Agro Mills Limited, Focus Lighting and Fixtures Limited, Ace Integrated Solutions Limited, and Bohra Industries Limited hit their upper price band.

Aakash Exploration Services Limited, Alps Industries Limited, AMD Industries Limited, Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Limited, and Antarctica Limited hit their lower price band. A total of 49 securities hit the upper price band, 63 securities hit the lower band and 20 securities hit both the upper and lower bands on November 18, 2022.
