The Sensex fell 30.81 points or
0.05% to 58,191.29 while the Nifty was down by 17.15
points or 0.01% to 17,314.65 at the close of trading on Friday.

The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 58,269.34
and 57,851.15. There were 13 stocks advancing against 17 stocks
declining on the index.

The Nifty traded in a range of 17,216.95 and
17,337.35. There were 21 stocks advancing against 29 stocks declining on the
index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE
mid-cap index down by 0.15% and the Small cap index up by 0.30%. The top
gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were Consumer Durables up by
2.13%, Telecom by 0.91%, Industrials by 0.52%, Capital Goods by 0.35% and
Realty by 0.27%, while on the downside Oil & Gas by 0.78%, Energy by 0.72%,
Metal by 0.63%, IT by 0.57% and FMCG by 0.52% were the top losing indices on
BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Titan Company by 5.27%,
Power Grid Corporation by 1.45%, IndusInd Bank by 1.06%, NTPC by 0.95% and Maruti
Suzuki
by 0.93%. Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 1.37%, Ultratech Cement by 1.29%, SBI by 1.28%, TCS by 1.28% and Bajaj Finance by 0.79%
were the top losers.

The top gainers on the Nifty were Titan Company by 5.31%,
Power Grid by 1.50%, ONGC by 1.06%, IndusInd Bank by 1.04% and Grasim
Industries by 0.88%. On the flip side, Tata Consumer Products was down by 1.69%,
Coal India by 1.63%, BPCL by 1.52%, Mahindra & Mahindra by 1.44% and
Ultratech Cement by1.33%.

Apollo
Sindoori Hotels Limited, Universal Cables Ltd., Max Ventures and Industries
Limited, HBL Power Systems Limited, and Fourth Dimension Solutions Limited hit
their 52-week high on Friday.

Equippp Social Impact Technologies
Limited, V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited, Agro Tech Foods Limited, Motilal Oswal
Financial Services Limited, Kriti Nutrients Limited, Debock Industries Limited, and Tips Films Limited touched a 52-week low on Friday.

Titan Company Ltd, Zomato Ltd, HDFC Bank Ltd, Nippon India Liquidbees, and Reliance Industries Ltd were the most active equities on NSE.

The top volume gainers were Banaras Beads Limited, Kotak Nifty IT ETF, Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited, Varroc Engineering Limited, and Pansari Developers Limited.

Appolo Sindoori Hotels Limited, Autoline Industries Limited, Axita Cotton Limited, Dhruv Consultancy Services Limited, and Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited Hit their upper price
band.

Asian Hotels (East) Ltd, AJR Infra
& Tolling Ltd, Antarctica Ltd, Arvee Laboratories (India) Ltd, and Bombay Super
Hybrid Seeds Ltd hit their lower price band. There were 60 securities that hit the upper band while 12 hit the lower band on October 7, 2022.
