The Sensex rose 20.86 points, 0.04%, to 58,136.36 while the
Nifty was up by 5.40 points, 0.03%, to 17,344.45 at close of trading on Tuesday.

The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 58,328.41 and
57,744.70. There were 16 stocks advancing against 14 declining stocks on the
index.

The Nifty traded in a range of 17,390.15 and 17,215.85.
There were 24 stocks advancing against 26 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE mid-cap
index increasing 0.50%, while small-cap index was up by 0.34%. On the sectoral
front, Power was up by 2.00%, Utilities up by 1.81%, PSU up by 1.03%, Consumer
Discretionary up by 0.81% and FMCG up by 0.65%, while Realty down by 1.74%,
TECK down by 0.54%, IT down by 0.52%, Capital Goods down by 0.39% and Metal
down by 0.37% were the top losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Indusind Bank up by
2.59%, Asian Paints up by 2.18%, NTPC up by 1.85%, Maruti Suzuki up by 1.81%
and Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 1.61%. On the flip side, Tech Mahindra down by
1.63%, HDFC down by 1.30%, Tata Steel down by 1.20%, Larsen & Toubro down
by 1.20% and HDFC Bank down by 1.13% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Indusind Bank up by 2.11%,
Asian Paints up by 1.91%, NTPC up by 1.79%, Hindustan Unilever up by 1.47% and
Maruti Suzuki up by 1.46%. On the flip side, UPL down by 3.96%, Hero MotoCorp
down by 2.46%, SBI Life Insurance down by 2.23%, Britannia Industries down by
1.96% and Hindalco Industries down by 1.89% were the top losers.

Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani Transmission Limited, AIA Engineering
Limited, Apar Industries Limited and Aster DM Healthcare Limited have hit a
52-week high on Tuesday.

ABM International Limited, ICICI Prudential Nifty 5 Yr
Benchmark G-SEC ETF and NAVA Limited touched a 52-week low on Tuesday.

Zomato Limited (ZOMATO), Reliance Industries Limited
(RELIANCE), Yes Bank Limited (YESBANK), ITC Limited (ITC) and HDFC Bank Limited
(HDFCBANK) were the most active equities on NSE.

Orbit Exports Limited, Univastu India Limited, Indigo
Paints Limited, Tide Water Oil Company (India) Limited and Transformers &
Rectifiers (India) Limited were the top volume gainers.

A2Z Infra Engineering Limited (A2ZINFRA), Aakash
Exploration Services India (AAKASH) Archidply Decor Limited (ADL), Agro Phos
India Limited (AGROPHOS) and AJR Infra and Tolling Limited (AJRINFRA) hit the
upper price band.

21st Century Management Services Limited (21STCENMGM), Adroit
Infotech Limited (ADROITINFO), Akash Infra-Projects Limited (AKASH), Antarctica
Limited (ANTGRAPHIC) and Arshiya Limited (ARSHIYA) hit the lower price band.
There were 118 securities that hit the upper band while 63 hit the lower band
on August 2, 2022.
