The Sensex rose 374.76 or 0.62% to 61,121.35 while the Nifty was up by 133.20 or 0.74% to close at 18,145.40 at the end of Tuesday’s trading session.
The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 61,289.73 and 60,868.69. A total of 26 stocks advanced against 04 declining on the index.
The Nifty traded in the high-low range of 18,175.80 and 18,060.15. On the index, 38 stocks advanced and 12 stocks declined.

The broader indices ended green with the BSE MidCap index gaining 1.04% and the SmallCap index up by 0.26%. The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were Power up by 2.18%, Utilities 2.11%, IT 1.77%, TECK 1.67%, and Healthcare 1.61%, while Bankex down 0.11% was the only losing sectoral indices on BSE.
The top gainers on the Sensex were NTPC up by 5.00%, Powergrid 3.07%, Dr Reddy Labs 2.39%, Infosys 2.27%, TCS 2.08%. While the losers on the index were Axis Bank down by 3.76%, Maruti Suzuki 0.94%, Reliance Industries 0.78%, and Tata Steel 0.34%.

The top gainers on the Nifty were Adani Enterprises up by 6.94%, Divi’s Lab 6.10%, NTPC by 5.14%, Power Grid Corp by 2.91% and Grasim Industries by 2.51%. While the top losers were Axis Bank down by 3.81%, UPL 1.63%, Eicher Motors 1.41%, Maruti Suzuki 0.97% and Reliance Industries 0.70%.
Bharti Airtel Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda and Eicher Motors Limited hit their 52-week high on Tuesday.

Akshar Spintex Limited, Tracxn Technologies Limited, Bhageria Industries Limited, Bombay Dyeing & Mfg Company Limited, and Intellect Design Arena Limited touched a 52-week low on Wednesday.
Adani Enterprises, Divi’s Labs, NTPC Limited, Nykaa, and Infosys were the most active equities on NSE.
The top volume gainers were STL Global Limited, ITI Limited, Dangee Dums Limited, Bang Overseas Limited, and Nakoda Group of Industries Limited.

Visesh Infotecnics Limited, Delhivery Limited, Adani Power Limited, Andhra Cements Limited and Reliance Communications Limited hit their upper price band.
Aakash Exploration Services Limited, Ahlada Engineers Limited, Akshar Spintex Limited, Ansal Properties and Infrastructures Limited, and Arrow Greentech Limited hit their lower price band. A total of 85 securities hit the upper price band, 53 securities hit the lower band and 13 securities hit both the upper and lower bands on November 01, 2022.
