Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX CEO, has some advice for Jeff Bezos, best
known for introducing the world to Amazon. The world’s richest man is of the
opinion that the world’s second richest man does not work hard enough.

Musk feels Bezos should spend more time at Blue Origin, his space
company, if the entrepreneur wishes to gain an edge in the space race. Musk
continued his assessment, saying that Bezos was not willing to spend the
necessary mental energy required to examine the details of engineering, in this
billionaire space race. While conceding that Bezos did have proper engineering
aptitude, Musk noted that he took himself too seriously, and in space engineering,
the devil lies in the details.

While accepting the Financial Times’ person of the year award, Musk
also established that he was friends with Bezos, and in his way, he tried to goad him into
spending more time at Blue Origin. Seemingly, Musk wishes Bezos’ venture to
progress, but expressed faux dissatisfaction saying the Amazon founder seems to
enjoy spending more time in hot tubs.

Musk has essentially called out Bezos’ lifestyle as lazy, but himself
puts in the work rate to issue such an opinion. He claimed that he works all
seven days for 80 to 90 hours a week, overseeing Tesla and SpaceX projects.

His hard work has paid off as well. According to Forbes, Musk’s current valuation
is at $252 billion, while Bezos rests as $195 billion. Ever one to have a sense
of humour, Musk pointed this out to Bezos, by awarding him a silver medal emoji
on Twitter, referring to their rankings.

Musk’s work ethic and entrepreneurial talent has not only earned him the
cover spot as TIME magazine’s person of the year but has also cemented his
position as an influencer capable of shaking financial and cryptocurrency
markets, simply with his tweets. Most recently, Musk found time in his busy
schedule, to announce that Tesla would be accepting dogecoin in some
transactions, driving up the cryptocurrency’s value by 20%.
