Future Retail (FRL) 

The company’s chief executive Sadashiv Nayak has resigned, the company said on Thursday, without citing any reasons, just over seven months after he took the helm at one of India’s largest retailers.

Vedanta 

Billionaire Anil Agarwal-owned company has entered into certain long term power security agreements for green and renewable energy (RE) power for Hindustan Zinc, Bharat Aluminum Company and Vedanta (Jharsuguda Aluminium Operations) via captive power projects. These projects will be created through a dedicated special purpose vehicle (SPV) for each entity.

GAIL (India) 

The company has received approval from the board of directors to buy back about 5.7 crore shares for Rs 1,083 crore as it looks to use its healthy balance sheet to reward shareholders for the second time in as many years.

KAYAK INVESTMENTS HOLDING PTE.LTD sold 9,69,58,852 shares in Max Healthcare Ins Ltd at Rs 340.00 per share on the NSE.

The company has made timely payment of redemption amount and interest for its non-convertible debentures of Rs 400 crore.

UCO Bank 

The bank has raised Rs 100 crore through private placement of 8.51% Basel III Compliant Tier II bonds having a face value of Rs 1 crore each. The maturity date of the said bond will be March 31, 2032.

Sterlite Technologies 

The company has signed the definitive agreement to sell its 64.98% stake in Maharashtra Transmission Communication Infrastructure (MTCIL). The total consideration of Rs 43 crore agreed to be received in multiple tranches.

Apollo Tyres 

The company is cooperating with the investigation by the Competition Commission of India (CCI), asserting that it has acted in compliance with competition laws. 

Ruchi Soya Industries 

The board has approved the issue price at Rs 650 per equity share for its follow-on public offer.

V-Guard Industries

The company is planning to expand in the northern, eastern and western regions of the country as it aims to garner over 60 per cent of revenue from these regions in the next five-six years.

NCC

The company along with other shareholders of NCC Vizag Urban Infrastructure (NCCVUL) has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with GRPL Housing Private Limited (Gardencity Realty Group, Bangaluru) to sell their entire shareholding in NCCVUL to GRPL.

RailTel Corporation of India 

The company is implementing modern signalling projects worth Rs 224 crore in the Northern Railway Zone of replacing obsolete mechanical signalling with a state-of-the-art Electronic Interlocking system. It covers 26 stations- 3 in the Delhi division, 9 in Ambala Division and 14 in the Firozpur division.

HG Infra Engineering 

Subsidiary Gurgaon Sohna Highway Private Limited has received the provisional certificate for the project in Haryana.

L&T Finance Holdings (LTFH) 

The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary — L&T Finance (LTF) has secured its first Sustainability Linked Rupee Loan of Rs 200 crore, from the Indian arm of the French multinational investment bank and financial services company – Societe Generale.

HDFC Asset Management Company 

Life Insurance Corporation of India acquired a 2.02% stake in the company via open market transactions. With this, its shareholding in the company stands at 7.02%, up from 5% earlier.

Exide Industries 

The company on Thursday announced an investment of Rs 6,000 crore in Karnataka. This is for setting up one of the largest Giga factories for advanced cell chemistry technology.

Vodafone Idea 

The company on Thursday said its board has approved the allotment of 338.3 crore equity shares at Rs 13.30 per scrip to three promoters group entities – Euro Pacific Securities, Prime Metals and Oriana Investments – for about Rs 4,500 crore.
