Walmart shares rose 6.9% in premarket trading after the
retailer reported better-than-expected quarterly profit and revenue, and also
saw comparable store sales and beat market estimates. Walmart announced a $20
billion share repurchase program.

Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM)

The chipmaker’s stock surged 10.9% in premarket trading
after Berkshire Hathaway (BRKb) revealed in a Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) filing that it had purchased more than $4.1 billion of the chip
maker’s stock during the third quarter.

Vodafone (VOD)

Vodafone fell 4.1% in the premarket after the mobile
operator slashed its earnings guidance and cash flow forecast, citing a
challenging economic environment.

Getty Images tumbled 11.8% in premarket after its quarterly
revenue fell short of Wall Street estimates, although the visual content
marketplace operator did see earnings top estimates.

Energizer Holdings (ENR)

Shares of the Energizer and Rayovac batteries maker plunged
10% after reporting better-than-expected quarterly results. Energizer’s results
came despite what the company calls a volatile operating environment with
significant headwinds.

Tencent Music (TME)

Tencent Music jumped 9.7% in premarket trading after reporting
better-than-expected quarterly profit and revenue. The China-based music
streaming platform benefited from an increase in the number of paying
subscribers.

Home Depot (HD)

Home Depot slipped 1.1% in premarket trading, after beating
top and bottom line estimates for its latest quarter but merely retaining its
full-year earnings forecast.

Bath & Body Works (BBWI)

Bath & Body Works added 2.8% in the premarket after
investor Dan Loeb’s Third Point disclosed a $265 million purchase in the
retailer’s stock in its quarterly SEC filing.

Estee Lauder (EL)

Estee Lauder gained 2.1% in the premarket as it is close to
acquiring high-end fashion company Tom Ford for around $2.8 billion, according
to a report in The Wall Street Journal. It would be the cosmetics company’s
largest-ever acquisition.
