English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently said that his daughter Lyra Antarctica is not the biggest fan of his music. He added that the eight-month-old "just cries" when he sings his new songs to her.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1, the musician said, "She [Lyra] really likes Shape Of You, the marimba sound is good, but she doesn't like anything loud or anything belty."
'Shape Of You' is one of the biggest global hits of Sheeran. The song is a part of his album 'Divide', which was released in 2017.
The pop artist was answering questions under the ‘Kids Ask Difficult Questions’ segment. He spoke about how he spends hours in front of a mirror to practice and make his songs perfect.
During the interaction, he said he feels very fortunate to be able to do what he loves as a job and to have more money than he would ever need. The 30-year-old added that he likes doing a lot of stuff for charities.
Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn welcomed their baby girl on September 1, 2020. The couple then said they were on "cloud nine" shortly after announcing her arrival, who they named Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.
