Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 term-1 date sheet is going to
release Monday, October 18. However, exact time has not been released by CBSE. This
year CBSE will be conducting class 10 and class 12 board exams in two terms
under the new examination pattern.

The first
term exam is scheduled to be held in November- December, 2021 and second term
will be conducted in March- April 2022. As soon as the date sheet will out
candidates can download it from the official website at cbse.gov.in and
cbse.nic.in.

Recently,
CBSE said the term 1 exam will be held in a flexible schedule of 4-8 weeks
duration. And for the examination board has already submitted the list of
candidates (LOC).

For tem 1
board examination, question will be asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
including case-based MCQs and MCQs on assertion-reasoning type.  The time
duration of exam will be 90 minutes. Under this new exam scheduled each term
will cover 50% of syllabus.

Students can
download the revised syllabus from the board website. The revised CBSE Class
10, 12 syllabus contains a list of chapters to study for board examination.

CBSE has
decided to conduct this year board exam in two terms because if Covid-19 third
wave again hit the country then it may be possible to cancel the exam so to
avoid such situations so that at the end of the academic year there is at least
one board conducted exam which can be used for preparing results.

To ensure
fair distribution of marks, the board had said efforts will be made to make
internal assessment, practical, project work more credible and valid as per the
guidelines and moderation policy.

Students who
are going to appear in the board examination are advised to download the sample
question paper to get an idea about the new exam pattern which helps the
students to get proper understanding of the types of questions that will be
asked in two terms.
