Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce Class 12 results at 2 pm today.  Once the results are declared, students will be able to check their scores on CBSE’s official websites: cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in and other digital platforms including DigiLocker.

CBSE said that the date for class 10 results will be announced soon.

On Thursday, CBSE released the ‘roll number finder’ portal for students which will allow them to verify check their board roll numbers.

Candidates only be able to check their results by entering the roll number. But since CBSE cancelled this year’s board exams for classes 10 and 12 and admit cards were therefore not released.

Therefore, the board has come up with this roll number finder portal to allow students to check their board role numbers.

How to check your roll number

Step 1: Visit the website www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html

Step 2: Click on ‘Roll number finder’ on the homepage

Step 3: On the new page, select your class

Step 4: Enter name, father’s name, mother’s name and school code

Step 5: Click on ‘search data’ CBSE will release the results on the board’s official websites: cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in as well as Digilocker.

The board has asked students to keep their roll numbers handy in order to promptly check their results.  

This year’s results will calculated on the basis of the results of the previous two years as also the performance in internal assessments and pre-boards. According to the evaluation policy, 30 % weightage was given to Class 10 marks, 30 % to Class 11 marks and 40 % to Class 12 marks obtained in unit test/mid-term/pre-board exams.
