CBSE, the Central
Board of Secondary Education
, is scheduled to release its class 12 results by
July 31. On Thursday, CBSE released the ‘roll number finder’ portal for
students which will allow them to verify check their board roll numbers. `

Candidates only be
able to check their results by entering the roll number. But since CBSE cancelled
this year’s board exams for classes 10 and 12 and admit cards were therefore
not released.

Therefore, the
board has come up with this roll number finder portal to allow students to
check their board role numbers.

How to check your roll
number

Step 1: Visit the
website www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html

Step 2: Click on ‘Roll
number finder’ on the homepage

Step 3: On the new
page, select your class

Step 4: Enter
name, father’s name, mother’s name and school code

Step 5: Click on ‘search
data’

CBSE will release
the results on the board’s official websites: cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in
as well as Digilocker. The board has asked students to keep their roll numbers
handy in order to promptly check their results.

Students have been
waiting eagerly for CBSE to release results for a long time now. The Supreme
Court had to step in
and directed CBSE to announce class 12 result on or before
July 31
.

Schools were given
time till July 25 to finalise and submit results.

Meanwhile, CBSE
shared a quirky meme on Thursday in a bid to calm anxieties of students.
