The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will rationalise the syllabus for classes 10 and 12 for 2021-22.  The syllabus for Board examination 2021-22 will be rationalised similar to that of the last academic session and will be notified in July 2021. 

 The academic session of Class 10 and 12 will be divided into two terms with a 50% syllabus in each term, reports PTI. 

The first term exams will be held in November-December while the second term will be scheduled in March-April. 

The CBSE said that efforts will be made to make internal assessments, project works more credible and valid. This comes as another academic year has started amid the COVID-19 pandemic that has forced to schools and educational institutions to remain shut and opt online learning modes.
