Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has announced the launch of music bus classroom and recording studio which will help students of Delhi government schools to pursue their passion of music.

The Delhi government has said that it is India’s first Mobile Music Bus and its main objective is to train children via a media related courses including audio recording and film production to make their future bright in these fields.

According to official statement, the Mobile Music Bus project will benefit 5,000 students and Manish Sisodia also said that children will no longer need to go out to learn music and instead the music will reach them.

“The Music Bus would reach the children at large, identify their artistic passion and lay a foundation upon which the School of Specialized Excellence would build upon and assist these children in pursuing their passion and achieve the heights of success in that field,” the statement quoting him said.

According to the statement, it was understands that a bus has been converted in to a moving music and a high-quality music and a performing stage to be created.

The Music Bus is also introduced with a Smart TV which will be used to share digital program through educational music videos on issues related to social-emotional health and well-being. The studio is built in such a way that it will run up to eight hours even without electricity.

This Music Bus Studio project was introduced by a group of students named “Manzil Mystics” who are studying in government schools of Delhi and this project is funded by SBI Card under CSR.

“The objective of this project is to train the children of low-income groups through a media-based curriculum which includes audio production, graphic designing and film production to help them build sustainable careers in these fields,” the statement said.

Manish Sisodia feels that when parents expect from their children to have some artistic talent but when the child wants to make that art his passion, then the parents ask to pay more attention to studies.
