Colleges affiliated
to Delhi University have started releasing DU cut-off 2021 list. Jesus and Mary
College (JMC) has also released its first DU cut-off marks for the admission to
various UG courses. The highest cut-off has been set by JMC College is 100% for
BA (H) Psychology course. If we compare with last year cut-off then it has
increase by 1.5 percentage points. The
combined lists of various colleges of DU will be available on the official
website of the university at du.ac.in.

On the other
hand, the cut-off has increased by a mark, or 0.75 percentage points, in
Political Science, while for History, it has remained the same i.e. 97.25%. The
cut-off has sharply increased by 5 percentage points for Hindi from 60% to 70%.

The cut-offs
have increased by a mark, or 1.75 percentage points, in both B.Com and B.Com
(H). For Mathematics, the cut-off has increased by 0.5 percentage point from
95% to 95.5%.

This
year, the first cut-off list of Delhi University is higher as
compared to last year. Because this year, in class 12 CBSE board result a total
of 70,000 students have secured more than 95 % marks.

There are
almost 70,000 seats for various courses and this year also the admission
process is online because of Corona virus pandemic situation. DU admission under
first cut-off list will begin from October 4 and will continue till October
6.

Delhi University
prepare cut-off list by keeping the following factors- Total number of
applicants, previous year’s cut-off trends, Programmes offered, Seats
availability, Best of four subjects.

The second
cut-off will scheduled to be release on October 9, 2021. And the admission
process will start from October 11 and will end on October 13.

The third
and the final cut-off list will be release on October 16 and the admission
process will begin on October 18 at 10am. Candidates will be able to apply for
admission before October 21 at 11.59 pm. The entire admission process is
likely to end in the month of November.
