The University of Delhi released its first cut off list for undergraduate courses on Saturday. The announcement comes ahead of the schedule and the first list has offered approximately 70,000 seats in the DU affiliated colleges.

The list was released on the university’s official website- du.ac.in as well as on the official websites of the respective colleges.

The Delhi University, working on a complete online admission system saw 3.54 lakh applications this year, the highest till date.

Lady Shri Ram College announced a 100% score for three courses in the general category- BA (Hons) Political Science, BA (Hons) Psychology and BA (Hons) Economics. The Hindu College saw the cut-off marks for admission to BA (Hons) Economics go up to 99.25, as per its website. 

The college has the highest cut-off among Science courses as well. The college has announced a cut-off of 99.75 per cent for admission to B.Sc (Hons) Statistics for general category students, while Hindu College has pegged the score for the same course at 99.25 per cent.

It was in 2015 that the College of Vocational Studies and Indraprastha College for Women had pegged their cut-off at 100 per cent for the computer science programme for general category students.

Last year, Hindu College had pegged the highest score of 99 per cent for Political Science Honours. LSR College came a close second with a cut-off of 98.75 per cent for BA programme and Psychology Honours. The college announced a cut-off of 99.33 per cent for B.Sc (Hons) Physics.

Aryabhatta College announced its Economics cut off at 98% followed by Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College – 98%, College of Vocational Studies – 96.5%, Daulat Ram College – 97% and Delhi College of Arts and Commerce – 96.75%

As per the one form system adapted by the DU, students will be able to apply for various courses throughout the plethora of colleges the university has to offer.
