The
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on Friday announced the result of
Graduate Aptitude Test For Engineering (GATE 2021) on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the test can check and download the result by visiting the GATE’s website gate.iitb.ac.in.

According to GATE only 17.82% of total candidates appeared, qualified the prestigious exam, i.e, out of the total 7,11,542 candidates 1,26,813 candidates qualified. 

Candidates who have not yet checked the result can download the GATE scoreboard by logging in to GOAPS (GATE online application processing system) portal between March 30 to June 30, 2021.

To download the scorecard from the portal, a candidate must have the login credentials provided at the time of application.

GATE 2021 was held on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14, amid COVID-protocols. Two new subjetcs were added to the list of GATE papers taking the total paper tally to 27. The new subjects added were – ES (Environmental Science and Engineering) and XH (Humanities and Social Sciences) in Economics / English / Linguistics / Philosophy / Psychology / Sociology. Further, the syllabi of all the subjects were revised this year.

Aspirants can seek admission in MTech courses across IITs, IISc, and other colleges using GATE score. This score is valid for three years from the date of declaration.
