Indira
Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU and School of Management studies (SOMS)
has launched AICTE approved Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes
on September 18, 2021. Candidates who are interested can apply by September 30
on official website i.e. ignour.samarth.edu.in

For General
category candidates who have passed with 50 % marks and for reserved category
candidates who have passed with 45 % marks can enrol in the programme. There is
no entrance exam will be conducted for admission to the course.

The
programme offers five different specialisation like human resource management,
financial management, marketing management, operations management and services management.
It is designed by renowned academicians and industry experts and is equipped
with a contemporary courses and the latest syllabus.

In the official statement released by University said that, “The programme is meticulously designed by renowned academicians and industry experts. It has got contemporary curriculum and the latest course material”.

Students
must complete 28 courses that take four semesters and have 116 credits. This
program is offered in pan India and other selected countries. The minimum
period is 2 years and the maximum is 4 years.

Similarly
SOMS, IGNOU in partnership with the Indian Institute of Banking Finance (IIBF)
offers an MBA in Banking and Finance (MBF). Eligibility for admission to the
program is a three-year bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent (45% in the
case of reserved candidates).

The
applicant should have passed the CAIIB exams of the Indian Institute of Banking
& Finance, Mumbai, and provided the required qualifications/certificates
by the Institute. They should have been working with the banking or financial
services sector for at least two years. It is an 116 credit system that lasts
more than four semesters with an average length of 2 years and a length of 4
years.
