Joint Seat
Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2021 counselling round 1 seat allotment result was
declared on October 27.  Candidates who
had filled the counselling form can visit their result by visiting the official
website of JoSAA i.e. josaa.nic.in. To check their selection status, candidates
will required their application number and password.

Those
candidates who are shortlisted in the Round 1 counselling can report online for
taking admission up to October 30.  Candidates
will have to pay the counselling fee and upload the required documents. JoSAA
round 2 allotment list will be release on November 1, 2021.

Round 1 seat allotment list by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Go
to the official website at josaa.nic.in

Step 2: Click
on ‘View Seat Allotment Result – Round 1’ link given on the homepage

Step 3: Login
with the required login credentials

Step 4: Submit
to view allotment result.

Step 5:
Download or take a screen shot of allotment list

JoSAA
counselling is held to take admission to various colleges of IITs, NITs, IIITs
and few Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFITs).

According to
message given on login window of JoSAA which reads, “Candidates who have not
registered in JEE (Main) 2021 and applied for JEE (Advanced) 2021 then use JEE
(Main) 2020 Application No. If you have registered for JEE (Advanced) 2021 then
use JEE(Advanced) 2021 password. Otherwise use JEE (Main) 2021 password”.

Candidates
who wish to withdraw their seats from the counselling can do so from second
round up to fifth round.

Following
the counselling of JoSAA, the Central Seats Allocation Board (CSAB) will
conduct two counselling rounds to fill vacant seats under the NIT + program.

While JEE
Advanced passed candidates can take admission to all institutions, but JEE Main
passed students can apply for admission to institutions other than IIT.
