Karnataka Common Entrance Exam (KCET) is set to commence from Saturday and will be held for two days- August 28 and August 29, 2021. The exam will take place in offline mode and students will have to write exams in their designated centres. However, Karnataka authorities have announced that COVID protocols and safety will be ensured.

Here is a list of exam instructions, do’s, and don’ts for KCET 2021.

* Candidates must reach the examination centre at least 2 hours
prior to the first bell. The timings for the same have been mentioned on the
KCET Admit Card 2021.

* Applicants must carry their KCET Admit Card 2021 is to
the exam hall. Along with this, candidates will also have to carry a valid
Identity, Id proof (Adhaar card, Pan card, voter day or any other) to the exam hall for checking.

* Students must find their hall number and take their seats in the exam hall after the first bell. No student
will be allowed to enter the KCET 2021 exam hall after the third bell.

* Students
will have to give their left-hand thumb impression in the space provided below the OMR sheet or wherever they are asked to.

Note: (Only black and blue pens to be used to fill the OMR sheets,  no pencils or pens of any other colour will be allowed.)

* No wrist
watch or smart devices are allowed in the exam hall. Along with this, students are prohibited
from carrying any electronic gadgets like calculators, mobile phones and so
on. 

* Wearing a mask and practicing social distancing at all times is mandatory. Roaming
around or sitting in groups is strictly prohibited.

* Students have to carry their sanitisers to the exam hall and make sure that
they sanitise their belongings and seat before they begin to write the exam.

KCET 2021 is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admissions to B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.V.Sc, AH, Pharm.D, and other professional courses.

KCET 2021 will be conducted for the following subjects- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates who are appearing for the exam must carry their admit cards for entry. 

According to the government’s official notice, KCET 2021 exam day instructions are also mentioned on the admit card and candidates must go through them.
