The National
Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 will be held all over India on
Sunday, September 12. Two days before the test, there was a rumour about a
fraudulent medical test. Many people say that the paper has been leaked,
however, officials have denied any violations of the entrance test. Although
students have been waiting for a long time for the exam to be postponed, it
will be held according to schedule.

More than 16.1 lakh students have
registered for the exam. This includes students who will be doing the test in
the regional language. For the first time, NEET will be held in 13 languages.

Those who clear
NEET  exam will be eligible for admission
to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and other undergraduate medical and dental courses. The
National Testing Agency is organizing the NEET 2021 exam nationwide. NEET 2021
was originally scheduled for April 18, but because of second wave of Covid-19
has forced authorities to postpone the test. Some people wanted a longer delay
until they reached the Supreme Court, but the high court refused to proceed
with the postponement of the exam.

“The
National Testing Agency is conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance
Test (UG) – 2021 at various centres in 202 cities across the country and abroad
on 12 September 2021 (Sunday) from 02:00 to 05:00. in Pen and Paper mode, ”the
NTA said in its September 9 announcement.

The National
Testing Agency  on September 9, 2021 also
issued new admit cards to those who wanted to enter NEET after some
participants were confused by pasting their passport-size photos on the second
page of the admit card.

“Candidates
who have already downloaded the Admit Card are advised to retrieve the NEET
(UG) 2021 Admit Card again,” the NTA said.

NEET
applicants should be aware that there are several restrictions on what they can
bring within the examination hall. Applicants are allowed to carry face masks,
gloves, and hand sanitizer. They can only carry a clear water bottle. Electrical
appliances, heavy jewellery, or other suspicious items are prohibited.
