The Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced to exemption of board examination
fee from thode students who have lost their parents due to the COVID-19
pandemic. As we know many businesses and jobs have been affected due to the
pandemic, due to which there were constant demands by parents and students to
reduce examination fee.

CBSE
released a letter saying, “CBSE vide letter No.CBSE/LOC/2021 dated 16.09.2021
has communicated to the schools that List of Candidates for Class X and XII
Examination 2021-22 will start from 17.09.2021 and contiue till 30.09.2021
without late fees and thereafter, till 09.10.2021 with late fees.”

CBSE has said in the official notification
that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected everyone very badly.  Keeping in view the impact on the students,
CBSE for the academic session 2021-22 has decided that neither the examination
fee nor the registration fee will be charged from the students who have either
their parents or surviving parents or Legal guardian or adoptive parent is lost
in the pandemic.

This year
the CBSE divided the syllabus into two parts. Which means the exam will be done
in two terms. The Term-I examl to be held in November-December will have a wide
range of choice questions containing case-based MCQs and a type of validation
assumptions. This exam will be held for 90 minutes.

In Term II, short and long answer
questions will be asked as well as case-based, and open-ended questions. Both
term paper  will run for two hours.
However, if the COVID-19 pandemic does not return to normal, the Term II exam
in March will be held for 90 minutes, with questions based on the MCQ.

Therefore, schools have been asked to submit the list of candidates (LOC) of class 10th and 12th without late fee by 30 September and with late fee by 9 October. Students have to submit examination fee for five subjects and the fee will be charged between Rs 12000 to Rs 1500.
