To pass the UP Board’s metric and 12th examination a student will need an aggregate score of 33%. A candidate must also score a minimum of 33% in each of the individual subjects. Owing to the pandemic, this year, UPMSP 10th and 12th results were prepared on the basis of internal assessment policy. Students, who are not satisfied with the marks awarded, would be given an opportunity to appear for the offline exams that would be conducted by the board. No examination fee would be charged.

The CBSE announced its results on Friday. The UP Board results come days after the University Grants Commission (UGC) issued guidelines for colleges and universities in India, asking them to start the new – 2021-22 – academic session from October 1. The statutory body said that colleges and universities must conduct the examination for final-year college students ‘mandatorily’. It added that for intermediate classes – first and second-year students – there will be no final exams.
