Abhishek Bachchan has disclosed that his wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, assists their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan with her education at home.

Dasvi, in which he plays an illiterate, corrupt politician named Ganga Ram Chaudhary, was recently released on a digital platform by the actor.

During a Twitter conversation, he revealed that Aishwarya taught Aaradhya and that Amitabh Bachchan used to educate him.

Aaradhya is 10 years old and is already well-known for her Hindi diction, as seen by a video of her delivering a poem in Hindi that went viral last month.

When asked if he assists Aaradhya with her education, Abhishek replied during a Twitter Spaces chat, “I think she already has the world’s best teacher, which is her mother. I don’t want to downgrade her or her expectations of what a teacher should be like by teaching her. That department is handled by her mother.”

Similarly, Abhishek said that as a child, he spent a lot of time with his father, Amitabh Bachchan, studying mathematics. “He was a natural at it.” He was a student of science. “He was a fantastic teacher,” he said. However, he emphasised that parents are not always the best teachers since children are sometimes afraid of what their parents will say if they approach them for help with their studies.

Amitabh Bachchan has been promoting the film and speaking compliments of Abhishek’s acting abilities since the premiere of the Dasvi teaser. On Thursday, he posted a flashback photo of Abhishek with a camera on Instagram with the message, “Dasvi… ab aur bolne ki zarurat nahi (now there is no need to repeat it again),” along with clapping hands emojis.

Following Dasvi, Abhishek is working on a project provisionally titled SSS-7. Aishwarya is now awaiting the release of Ponniyin Selvan: I, a Mani Ratnam film.
