Jitendra Kumar is an Indian actor known for starring as Abhishek Tripathi in Amazon Prime Video’s in ‘Panchayat’, Jeetu Bhaiya in ‘Kota Factory’, and Aman Tripathi in ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’.
Kumar won a Filmfare OTT award in the Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Male) category for his performance in ‘Panchayat’.
He studied civil engineering at IIT Kharagpur, where he began gaining interest in cinema and acting. He took part in several stage plays at the engineering institute. During one of his shows, he met Biswapati Sarkar, the Executive Creative Director and Writer of The Viral Fever (TVF), who invited him to join the channel in 2012.
In 2013, he got his big break and starred in ‘Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya Intern’, a show that gained over 3 million views on YouTube.
