Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan seems to have hopped on the bandwagon with Preity Zinta, missing this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.

The Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner was represented by his kids, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, who attended the pre-auction briefing event. Shah Rukh Khan co-owns the cricket team with actor Juhi Chawla.

Pictures of the event were shared on the official Twitter handle of the Indian Premier League, with the sibling duo making an appearance in the pictures. Suhana (21) wore a white shirt and blue denim ensemble to the event. Aryan (24) opted for a dark blazer.

The official handle of KKR recently shared a picture of the siblings attending a meeting with the CEO and managing director of the team, Venky Mysore. The caption reads, “A crash course in #IPLAuction strategies from the CEO to our Gen-Next.”

Uploaded 30 minutes ago, the Twitter post has amassed over 1,200 likes and several comments.

One Twitter user wrote, “The superstars of tomorrow.”

Another user added, “So so happy to see them back in action. All the best. May you all find the right players to make the team even better.”

While Suhana is a first-timer to the auction event, Aryan Khan represented his father last year as well. One of the pictures from last year displayed the 24-year-old sipping on a beverage in a white mug, alongside Jahnavi Mehta, daughter of Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla.

Chawla had shared a post last year that read, “So happy to see both the KKR kids, Aryan and Jahnavi at the auction table.”

This year’s briefing event is Aryan Khan’s first public appearance since his drug bust fiasco in October last year. Khan was imprisoned for a month and was later released on bail.

Suhana Khan has been living in Mumbai since returning from New York. Speculations suggest that the 21-year-old might make a debut in Bollywood.
