Controversial congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed US President Joe Biden, calling him a “dementia-ridden piece of crap,” following the 79-year-old’s first State of the Union Address wherein Biden confused Ukraine with Iran.

“Under President Trump, this [war] would have never happened. For four years our country had a real leader that led America and the entire world to peace for strength,” Greene said during a 30-minute speech shared by a conservative media outlet, Right Side Broadcasting Network.

“But now we have a mentally incompetent, feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap,” Greene said, referring to comment from last year by Kathy McCollum, a mother whose son was among the 13 US troops killed during the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Greene is no stranger to criticising Biden and had called the President a “a piece of s**t” on conservative social media platform Gettr during the US’ withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The 47-year-old’s latest comment about Biden’s “dementia” perhaps, among other things, refer to the President’s gaffe during his State of the Union address.

“Putin may circle Kyiv with tanks, but will never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people. He will never extinguish their love of freedom and he will never weaken the resolve of the free world,” Biden had said, without even realising that he had had a slip of tongue.

The President had made a similar gaffe a couple of weeks earlier, when he said during an NBC interview, “There was no way we were ever going to unite Ukraine. I mean Iraq…Afghanistan.”

The comment was harshly criticised by his political opponents, and Biden’s state of mind was also questioned, with many suggesting that the President had become senile or that he had dementia.
