Elon Musk posted an image on Twitter showing a caricature of the man resembling the Tesla CEO freeing a bird. Interestingly, what was caged was the iconic blue Twitter bird.

Musk’s latest post came amid confusion surrounding his Twitter buyout. The world’s richest man announced that his deal to buy the site has been temporarily put on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5 percent of users.

Among many issues with Twitter that Musk has pointed out, he is has specifically been fixed on the number of bots on Twitter, which the entrepreneur feels would affect the value of the social media company. In a way, he has been hinting about Twitter being caged, and that he is the only person to bring its freedom.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal had attempted to clarify the company’s stance on bots after Musk pointed out the issue.

To this, Musk responded with a poop emoticon, and on a separate post wrote: “20% fake/spam accounts, while 4 times what Twitter claims, could be *much* higher. My offer was based on Twitter’s SEC filings being accurate. Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO publicly refused to show proof of <5%.”

In a tweet after announcing the deal was “on hold” he admitted he was “Still committed to acquisition.

To Musk’s latest tweet, Shibetoshi Nakamoto, pseudonym of Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus, reacted, writing: “Despite all my rage I am still just a bird in a cage,” he wrote. His tweet also received a reply from Musk.
